In this world afflicted by injustice and poverty, war and disease, I love the words of St. Francis' prayer. God invites ordinary people - you and me - to be fashioned into holy tools for cultivating peace. What a privilege, and what a responsibility! We can't do it alone.
May these songs remind, strengthen and encourage you: it's as we come to the Communion table, seek Christ in the poor and suffering, rest in God's presence and hope for His coming, that we become the bread of peace broken for the life of a hungry world.
